we're at the station here in east oakland. quite frankly the area where this boys and girls club is located was just too unsafe at this time of the day. in this case you might think the circumstances are even worse. the police i talked to this morning said when they read the report it made the hair on the back of their neck stand up. the victim is a 7-year-old boy. medical staff at children's hospital alerted police about 8:45 last night. police tell us the boy told his mother what happened and she took her child to the hospital. police say the boy was violently raped in the bathroom of a boys and girls club at 85th avenue and international boulevard in east oakland. the victim did not tell anyone at the club. the original investigation looked into the role two other male juveniles played in the rape but there could be more suspects. this morning police tell me they're going to the club to question staff and find out who was there at the time. we're going to try to reach the president of the oakland chapter to see what he know
